Re: Summer signings just not good enough.
Poor signings, went for cheapies and only spent big on two strikers one of whom will never make it.

Pity we didn't stay with what we knew something about like Walcott, Oxlade Chamberlain and Bentecke. Did we really try and get those or were these yet more 'smoke screens'?

Ayew and tore were truly baffling signings

Re: Summer signings just not good enough.
Our VERY public desperation of Bacca just weakened us in the market, the dildo brats tweeting how difficult it was to get Zaza to sign left laughing at my phone reading twitter.

No other clubs comes out with this shit

Re: Summer signings just not good enough.
We were seduced by the success of Kouyate, Payet, Lanzini , Sahko (pre lobotomy) to think that we didn't need Premier League experienced players.
Who was the last player we bought from a Premier league club?

Ayew

Re: Summer signings just not good enough.
Will be good to see him start soon as we know he CAN play in this league.

He appeared to be a post-Bacca panic buy
Who was the one before him?

See Bacca's agent said this week, he could still sign for us in the future.

Yeah seems a poor window which is disappointing considering our most important one with the move

Re: Summer signings just not good enough.
Thats a good point frank. Following our season last year and the move to the olympic stadium, the last summer transfer window was one of our most important to progress as a club. Instead of positivity we had before the window we are now all negative and everything to do with the club in the press is mainly negative - our security in our new stadium, performances on the pitch etc.

Sullivan is to blame for this, and thats why in order for us to go forward as a club - we must get owners who are prepared to invest in the club.

Re: Summer signings just not good enough.
Player recruitment decisions must be with the manager. Sullivan can suggest all he likes, but the last word must be with Bilic, and so he has to be responsible for the enormous fuck-up perpetrated this Summer.
As I've said before, none of those recruited have strengthened the side. In fact it's the reverse, and most of them have weakened it.
I'm starting to have serious doubts as to just how much of a football brain Bilic has. He's undoubtedly an intelligent bloke, but that doesn't guarantee that you'll be good at managing a football team.
His determination to turn Antonio into a RB despite all the evidence that showed this wasn't a good idea was compounded by him going out and buying two useless right wingers to replace him, both of whom weren't a patch on MA.
Then there was his determination to bring in Zaza and the other 'striker', both who have proved themselves to be utterly useless.
Then there are other useless fuckers like Nordvelt, or whatever his name is.
He practically brought in an entire team of duds.

But he only makes matters worse by continuing to move Antonio from right wing back, to right wing, to left wing, to striker. He continues to use Zaza, and even as a sub it's utterly pointless. Ditto with Feghouli.

He just seems to be making way too many mistakes and if he doesn't get his act together very soon then by the end of the year we could be in a shit state.

One thing he has to address is the alarming lack of goals, and starting Saturday he must throw Ayew in as the striker and get Antonio back at right wing. It might not result in immediate success, but the bloke was bought as a striker and so must be put there. We don't have any choice. If this means dropping Lanzini to the bench then so be it, because I think the lad, although skillful, is flattering to deceive and not very effective.

If that's the case David Sullivan has undergone some kind of epiphany.

Re: Summer signings just not good enough.
I agree the window has been poor, however it was not for the want of trying.

I think once our targets turned us down Sullivan did what paid off in previous seasons and took a gamble.

It paid off with Lanzini, Payet, Sakho, Antonio, Adrian, Randolph, and countless others.

This year it did not work out, and what with the injuries we have picked up we have been found lacking. I'm sure we will turn it around soon

Where is the lesser spotted Norveldt meant to play?

Re: Summer signings just not good enough.
We've just won 3 on the bounce, including a win against Chelsea, so some of these comments ate most baffling.

We lost at a ground, and against a team we seldom win at or beat.

It happens. We actually played ok. Not a time for the histrionics really.

Ayew was not baffling. He's a proven Premier League player.

We lost today because of poor play from obiang,Reid and ogg none of whom were summer signings

Feghouli is absolute fucking dogshit.

He can't even cross the ball! He's a fucking retard.

What agent flogged us this tripe? Sullivan and Gold have been mugged off.

Fegouhli worries me to....
